• THREE years ago we opened HatchLab PDX, Portland’s social entrepreneurship coworking space for innovators and doers!

• TWO years ago investing in Oregon businesses was made legal via Oregon’s CPOs aka Community Public Offerings - (and, there may be a surprise reveal of more!)

• THIS year we opened HatchLab Baker, in historic Baker City, Oregon!

PLUS, hear about the future of the HatchOregon1000, our statewide small business fundraising campaign!

The gist: This is a private, friends and family event (with your plus-ones of course). We’ll have all our usual yummy, unique local refreshments, special guests, and a short presentation on the Hatch year-in-review as well as what lies ahead. You’re part of our change-maker family, and we want you to celebrate with us!

As you may have noticed, Hatch Innovation, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit behind Hatch Oregon, The Social Pitch, The Remedy Club, ComCapLearn and ComCapConferences, is amidst our first annual fundraising drive, THE HATCH OREGON 1000.

We’re seeking the support of 1000 Oregon businesses at $100 each. When locally-owned businesses thrive, our communities thrive along with them. They are pivotal to community wealth and economic health. Plus, small local businesses employ over half of Oregonians.

In order to thrive, businesses need access to capital.

We focus on making it easier for entrepreneurs to access capital because we believe in the power that businesses have to improve their communities. For a growing business, a small amount of capital can make a HUGE difference. $15,000 for a key piece of equipment, for example, can make a small manufacturer’s business ten times more efficient.

We paved the path for entrepreneurs, and they ran with it.
